Trekking Experience:
  • Day 1: The trek usually starts from Katesh town. You’ll hike through farmlands, local villages, and forests, with opportunities to interact with the Iraqw and Barbaig communities. Reach the base camp for dinner and overnight.
  • Day 2: An early morning ascent to the summit. You will trek through alpine vegetation and rocky terrains, reaching the peak for breathtaking sunrise views of the Rift Valley, Lake Balangida, and the surrounding plains. Descend to your accommodation for transfer back to Arusha or Moshi or continue with Safari to the National Parks.
